Whether you’re dreaming of spring and summer, or living them, these glorious teas harness the flavors of garden and orchard to make dazzling, delicious blends. We’ve selected four different base teas — black, oolong, genmaicha green, and rooibos, and paired them with flowers like hibiscus, jasmine, lavender, and rose, as well as a whole basket of mouthwatering dried fruits.
Lady Londonderry At Court – We’ve taken our classic Lady Londonderry black, already laced with lemon balm and bits of strawberry, and dressed her up for an audience with the Queen. We’ve doubled the strawberry and added bits of hibiscus for a gorgeous red cup, a pinch of King Tut Ground Egyptian Lemon for a bright, citrusy flavor, and tiny jewel-like lavender buds to create a brew that is an unforgettable as a night at the palace.
Lavender Blue Genmaicha – This one’s for the lavender-lovers! We’ll admit to getting our inspiration for this fruity, floral brew from the folk song… “Lavender blue dilly-dilly, lavender green.” This, we’ve layered a nutty, vegetal genmaicha green tea with fragrant lavender, blue mallow flowers (which briefly brew a lovely blue, before the genmaicha turns the infusion a rich hunter green), and a wealth of elderberries. Green tea and elderberries are beloved for their antioxidants and health-promoting qualities, and lavender is sweetly soothing. All around, a wonderfully flavorful, healthful tea.
Jasmine Orchard Oolong – If you’ve not been initiated into the wonders of oolong, it sits at the midpoint between unfermented green teas and fully fermented black teas, capturing the best of both worlds. This oolong is redolent with floral jasmine and gorgeous morsels of fruit — mango, apple, strawberry, and peach, plus touch of herbal safflower. We love it both hot and iced. A terrific anytime tea.
Cherry Rose Rooibos – This gorgeous blend mixes South African herbal rooibos with blackberry leaf and glamorous rose petals, and infuses them with the all-natural flavors of cherry and rose. As rooibos is caffeine-free, it’s a wonderful anytime beverage, and this brews up as lovely as a good night kiss.
