Our Teaching Kitchen is a lively little working space in Springfield’s Rountree neighborhood, where there’s almost always something bubbling, baking, or being enthusiastically discussed.
From handmade pasta and ambitious pastries to cooking traditions from around the world, we invite curious people to roll up their sleeves and make something wonderful.
Some days we’re making dinner together. Some days we’re up to our elbows in pastry. Sometimes a new ingredient or an irresistible idea sends us off on a culinary adventure we simply have to share.

Come Make Something
This is a real working kitchen, not a luxury showroom. Our counters are for rolling pastry, our equipment gets a workout, and we care far more about what comes out of the oven than whether everything looks glamorous. It’s small, busy, and very much ours.
There’s more than one way to enjoy a kitchen like this. We’ll dream up plenty of reasons to gather around the counter, and we hope you’ll bring your curiosity.

Cook Something Wonderful
Every week brings something new: a fresh Date Night menu, a different hands-on baking class, Monday Lunch, and Tuesday Latin + Music Night. From handmade pasta and ambitious pastries to unfamiliar spices and delicious traditions from around the world, there’s always something interesting happening in our little kitchen.
Just bring your curiosity and an appetite – we’ll take care of the rest.
Bring Your People
Some occasions deserve a little culinary adventure. Birthdays, team outings, family gatherings, or simply an excuse to bring your favorite people together and make something delicious.
Our private cooking and baking experiences are hands-on, lively, and designed around your group. We’ll provide the ingredients, instruction, and plenty of opportunities to laugh, learn, and eat together.
Sometimes We’re a Real Bakery, Too
Most of the time, we’re teaching people how to make delicious things. But every now and then, we put on our bakery hats and make them ourselves.
From holiday specialties and elaborate pastries to occasional pop-up sales and seasonal favorites, our little kitchen is also a working bakery. Keep an eye on our announcements to find out what’s coming out of the oven next.
