Join us for a cheerful, delicious and hands-on Greek-inspired lunch! We'll be making bright, creamy avgolemono (egg-lemon-chicken soup), Greek village salad, grilled pork souvlakia with tzatziki and handmade pitas, and for dessert, portokalopita, a uniquely wonderful, custardy orange cake!
Inspired by the historical train route of the Orient Express, we're taking a culinary journey from Paris to Istanbul, sampling a variety of dishes from the cities along the route. We'll start with a selection of French cheeses, then try our hand at an Alsacian bacon-onion tart, and feast on weisswurst, Viennese asparagus, chicken paprikesh, and garlic mushrooms with cheesy polenta. Finally, we'll celebrate our culinary arrival in Istanbul with delicious baklava!
