The oven is glowing, the spices are fragrant, and the holidays are drawing near. Our 2025 Holiday Baking Classes invite you to slow down and step into the season with flour on your hands and joy in your heart. This year’s collection of festive, hands-on workshops celebrates the timeless art of holiday baking, from delicate European Christmas cakes and hand-painted chocolates to iced, sugared cookies and fragrant loaves warm from the oven. Each class is designed to rekindle the wonder of an old-fashioned Christmas kitchen, where stories are shared, ribbons curl around, well, everything, and every recipe holds a little bit of magic.
These gatherings are more than mere classes. They are a return to the spirit of tradition and generosity, a reminder that the most memorable gifts are the ones we make ourselves. As you whisk, roll, dip, and decorate, you will learn new techniques and rediscover the simple delight of creating something beautiful with your own hands. You will leave with artful confections to share, and perhaps a few to keep, along with new skills, warm memories, and the faint sparkle of powdered sugar still clinging to your sleeve.
Whether you join us to craft edible gifts, to fill your table with homemade treasures, or simply to indulge in the scents and flavors of the season, there is a class waiting for you. Space is limited, and the elves can only work so quickly, so explore the schedule below and reserve your place soon. The ovens are ready, the carols are playing, and the holiday magic is already in the air. All that is missing is you and your favorite people!
The Grand European Christmas Bake
Step into the warmth and wonder of The Grand European Christmas Bake, our most beloved and elaborate class of the holiday season!
Once each December, we gather for an afternoon of baking, storytelling, and celebration as we recreate the showstoppers of Europe’s Christmas tables: France’s magnificent Bûche de Noël (ours includes an almost irresponsible amount of chocolate, butter, and cream), Germany’s Stollen, where cinnamon-spiced dough studded with brandied raisins and house-candied orange peel hides a roll of almond marzipan symbolizing the Christ child, Italy’s famous Panettone, a revelation if you’ve never had one fresh from an artisan bakery like ours, and of course our Old World Fruitcake, absolutely loaded with rum-soaked fruit, pecans, butter, molasses, and Christmas spirit.

Holiday Cookie Decorating

Few things say Christmas quite like a kitchen full of cookies, and Holiday Cookie Decorating might just be our most popular class ever, probably!
We start with rich, buttery sugar cookie dough and roll it out into the shapes of the season—Christmas trees, snowflakes, candy canes, stars, and stockings—before baking tray after tray of deliciously caramelized perfection. Then we mix up glossy royal icing in a rainbow of festive colors and learn the tricks of piping, flooding, and finishing that make every cookie look as good as it tastes. There’s laughter, music, and the smell of butter, sugar, and vanilla in the air, so it’s as festive as is currently legal in Missouri!
This class is equal parts craft, confection, and Christmas cheer, and by the end, you’ll have a box of cookies that (hopefully) too beautiful to eat… but you should do it anyway!

Christmas Cookies of the World

Whether you’re out to dazzle at the next cookie swap or simply curious about holiday traditions beyond your own, this class is your passport to the world’s cookie jar.
Together we’ll bake (and eat) our way across every continents (including Antarctica!) We’re getting hands-on and exploring how sugar, spice, eggs, butter and the very concept of a cookie take on new personalities and meanings from country to country.
From the spicy gingerbread of Germany to the walnut-apricot delights of Serbia to the aromatic semolina-and-date cookies of the Middle East, from South Africa’s fried, syrupy koeksisters to the coffee-and-caramel treats of Colombia to some favorites from Down Under, we’ll fill our trays with flavors that tell stories. There’s even a stop or two in the good old USA for some regional faves!
It may be a small world, but it’s absolutely packed with cookies, and we’re determined to taste our way through as many as we can. Come ready to roll, shape, bake, and sample, because Christmas cheer is best baked, iced, and shared. And don’t worry, we are sending you home with a LOT of cookies!
Gingerbread Everything

If you can dream it in gingerbread, we are making it. In this festive hands-on class, we will build indulgent parfaits with our famous gingerbread cake, bake and decorate several styles of European gingerbread cookies, and learn the secrets to assembling gingerbread houses that actually stay standing the first time. Along the way you will pick up piping tricks and decorating skills that make your creations look as good as they taste.
There might even be a little gingerbread-spiced sip to keep the holiday spirit flowing while you work.
Come with friends, bring your creativity, and get ready for an evening filled with sugar, spice, and everything nice.
✨This class is brand-new this year, but our December classes always fill up very quickly, so if you see tickets grab them!

Festive Fromage

Say cheese to the holidays! In this merry and delicious hands-on workshop, we’ll explore the art of cheesemaking with a festive twist. Together we’ll craft fresh burrata, whip up beautiful herb-decked fromage blanc or chèvre, and create the ultimate holiday-worthy fondue. You’ll also make elegant no-bake cheesecakes, crispy parmesan crisps, and a stunning seasonal charcuterie board to tie it all together.
Whether you’re hosting, gifting, or simply indulging, these crowd-pleasing creations will make you the star of any holiday gathering. Bring a friend—or a bottle of wine (BYOB welcome!)—and get ready to stir, stretch, and sample your way through the most delightful dairy of the season.

Santa’s Chocolate Workshop

Welcome to Santa’s Chocolate Workshop, where the smell of cocoa fills the air and the countertops shimmer with edible gold dust. This is where the holiday magic (and a little mischief) begins. In this immersive, hands-on class, you’ll learn the techniques behind the season’s sweetest creations — tempering, molding, and decorating your very own collection of handmade chocolates.
We’ll start by exploring the foundations of fine chocolate, from silky ganache to that perfect glossy finish that gives each piece its irresistible sheen. Then it’s time to create! You’ll hand-paint truffles that look almost too pretty to eat, dip marshmallow pops and pretzel rods in luscious tempered chocolate, swirl and sprinkle them with festive toppings, and craft decorated brownies that are equal parts elegant and over-the-top fun. And of course, there will be rich, creamy hot cocoa to sip while you work — because no chocolate class is complete without a mug in hand.
Along the way, we’ll share professional tips for achieving shine, snap, and flavor balance, along with creative ideas for packaging and gifting your treats (assuming they make it out of your parking space uneaten). It’s the perfect class for couples, friends, or anyone who loves to mix artistry with indulgence.
Whether you’re planning to fill stockings, host a dessert exchange, or simply treat yourself, you’ll leave with a box of festive confections and the confidence to recreate them at home. Bring a friend, bring a bottle if you like — this is your invitation to experience the season in its sweetest form.
