We'll try our hands at a variety of different pretzel types, including traditional Bavarian, parmesan peppercorn, and sweet Scandinavian Kringla. We'll get lots of practice shaping and twisting pretzels, and learn various methods to achieve that unique pretzel crust.

Join us for a hands-on celebration of the food of Oktoberfest! We'll be making beer-braised brats with sauerkraut, lye-dipped pretzel pockets stuffed with ham and cheese, German potato salad, spaetzle, and an enormous hand-stretched apple strudel. Good enough to make you yodel, lederhosen optional.
