About This British Cooking Class

Pack your appetite (and perhaps your best faux-British accent) for a culinary trip across the pond! In this elegant yet cozy hands-on class, we’ll explore the timeless flavors of the British Isles with a feast fit for royalty — or at least a very happy couple.

The evening begins with the showstopper: Beef Wellington. You’ll learn how to wrap tender beef tenderloin in layers of savory mushroom pâté and buttery puff pastry, then bake it to golden perfection. Alongside, we’ll prepare honey-glazed roasted parsnips and champ mashed potatoes, a comforting Irish favorite enriched with scallions and cream. Add in asparagus with classic hollandaise, and you’ve got a spread that would make any London supper table proud.

But save room — dessert is where the magic truly happens. You’ll whip up a warm, whiskey-laced sticky toffee pudding, soaked in rich caramel sauce and served with a dollop of cream. It’s cozy, decadent, and dangerously irresistible.

Throughout the evening, you’ll work side by side with your partner (and maybe sneak a few bites as you go), learning practical kitchen techniques and a few chef’s secrets. When it’s time to dine, you’ll sit down to enjoy your remarkable meal in our lovely outdoor gazebo with your new friends.

BYOB is always welcome — a bold red, a sparkling rosé, or even a fine Scotch would all feel right at home here.

Come ready to roll up your sleeves, share the fun, and experience a delicious night in the British Isles.

BYOB

We suggest a bold Cabernet Sauvignon or Bordeaux blend, a classic Syrah/Shiraz, or a rich Pinot Noir for red wine lovers. If you prefer white, try a lightly oaked Chardonnay or a Viognier. A fine Scotch whisky or Irish whiskey also pairs beautifully.

ADMIT TWO

Each ticket admits two people! You don’t have to bring a romantic partner; friends, gal pals, adult kids, parents, anybody you want to share the cooking and eating with is great!
