Step back in time for an evening of ancient flavors and timeless romance as we commemorate the final days of Pompeii with a hands-on culinary experience inspired by the foods of the Roman Empire.
Based on archeological research and historical texts, this menu brings the past to life with elegant simplicity and bold flavors: stuffed dates, herbed ricotta with honey and walnuts, and baked eggs with leeks and lovage, followed by coriander-scented chickpeas, house-made Lucanian pork sausage, and parsnip purée. For dessert, a Roman favorite: pear patina, a delicately spiced fruit custard.
Held on the (probable) anniversary of Mount Vesuvius’s eruption in AD 79, this unique date night invites you to taste history—one course at a time.
