In this hands-on Valentine’s Cookie Decorating Class, you’ll learn how to bake, decorate, and design beautiful sugar cookies from scratch — the perfect way to share a little love (or keep it all for yourself).

We’ll begin by making our signature rolled sugar cookie dough, then cut out an assortment of seasonal Valentine’s shapes for your own personal tray. While your cookies bake to golden perfection, we’ll mix up batches of royal icing, learning how to achieve perfect piping and flooding consistencies, blend colors, and use outlining and layering techniques to create smooth, professional finishes.

Once the cookies are cooled, you’ll decorate your own collection of beautiful Valentine’s cookies using the icing techniques you’ve just learned — from elegant hearts and florals to playful patterns and conversation-cookie designs.

At the end of class, your creations will need to dry overnight for safe transport and best results. You’re welcome to return the next day to pick them up once they’ve set perfectly — or if you’ve come from farther away, we’ll carefully box them up for the trip home and hope for the best.

Step into the warmth and wonder of The Grand European Christmas Bake, our most beloved and elaborate class of the holiday season! Once each December, we gather for an afternoon of baking, storytelling, and celebration as we recreate the showstoppers of Europe’s Christmas tables: France’s magnificent Bûche de Noël (ours includes an almost irresponsible amount of chocolate, butter, and cream), Germany’s Stollen, where cinnamon-spiced dough studded with brandied raisins and house-candied orange peel hides a roll of almond marzipan symbolizing the Christ child, Italy’s famous Panettone, a revelation if you’ve never had one fresh from an artisan bakery like ours, and of course our Old World Fruitcake, absolutely loaded with rum-soaked fruit, pecans, butter, molasses, and Christmas spirit.

This is more than a class; it’s a once-a-year celebration of tradition, hospitality, and festive splendor. You’ll learn classic European techniques, discover the legends behind each bake, and take home an assortment of magnificent confections perfect for gifting or savoring yourself.

Since it’s only offered once a year, The Grand European Christmas Bake always sells out quickly. Reserve your spot early, gather a few friends, and BYOB if you’d like to toast your creations with something merry!

Step into a winter wonderland of sugar and spice! In this festive hands-on class, you’ll roll out buttery sugar cookie dough, cut classic holiday shapes, and learn the art of royal icing. With a little guidance (and plenty of creativity), you’ll decorate your own collection of cookies—think twinkling Christmas trees, cheerful candy canes, sparkling snowflakes, ornaments, stockings, and more.

Your cookies will be boxed up so they travel safely home once they are dry the next day, so they’re perfect for sharing at parties, gifting, or saving for Christmas Eve (if you can resist nibbling them first!). If you can’t make it back the next day for pickup, don’t worry because we have take-home boxes ready for you. (It’s a little risky, but we know a lot of you come from quite a distance!) 

This class is a perfect way to celebrate the season with friends, coworkers, or family. Bring your creativity, your holiday cheer, and, if you’d like, a bottle of something bubbly or festive to sip while you work.

We’re making everything from hand-painted truffles to chocolate-dipped marshmallow pops, pretzel rods, and decorated brownies! Oh, and hot cocoa, of course!

Together we’ll bake (and eat) our way across every continents (including Antarctica!) We’re getting hands-on and exploring how sugar, spice, eggs, butter and the very concept of a cookie take on new personalities and meanings from country to country.

From the spicy gingerbread of Germany to the walnut-apricot delights of Serbia to the aromatic semolina-and-date cookies of the Middle East, from South Africa’s fried, syrupy koeksisters to the coffee-and-caramel treats of Colombia to some favorites from Down Under, we’ll fill our trays with flavors that tell stories. There’s even a stop or two in the good old USA for some regional faves!

It may be a small world, but it’s absolutely packed with cookies, and we’re determined to taste our way through as many as we can. Come ready to roll, shape, bake, and sample, because Christmas cheer is best baked, iced, and shared. And don’t worry, we are sending you home with a LOT of cookies!
