About This Tuscan Cooking Class
Transport yourselves to the golden hills of Tuscany for an evening of hands-on cooking, bold flavors, and authentic Italian hospitality. In this cozy, couples-friendly class, we’ll explore rustic yet refined Tuscan dishes crafted to be shared and savored, bringing the warmth and charm of an Italian kitchen to your table.
Together we’ll prepare an abundant menu, starting with a trio of classic antipasti: crostini toscani with savory chicken liver pâté, bruschetta with ripe tomatoes and fresh basil, and crostini con fichi e ricotta, a perfect sweet-salty bite of fig and creamy cheese. We’ll toss a crisp arugula salad with shaved pecorino and a drizzle of golden olive oil, awakening your palate for the dishes to come.
Next, we’ll dive into pasta-making, hand-rolling fresh pici (think thick spaghetti) to pair with a fragrant, garlicky tomato sauce, learning techniques that make even a simple dish extraordinary. For the main event, you’ll master the art of making an herb-crusted pork loin, tender and juicy, perfectly complemented by seasonal vegetables.
To finish, we’ll indulge in something sweet and distinctly Tuscan: Torta della Nonna, lemon custard and pine nut tarts that are delicate, creamy, and just the right amount of indulgent. Throughout the evening, you’ll not only create a memorable meal, but also pick up tips, tricks, and hands-on skills to bring the heart of Tuscany into your own kitchen.
Whether it’s your first class or your fifth, this date night promises warmth, laughter, flavor, and a delicious memory made by hand—an evening to savor, laugh, and learn together.
