South African Braai – A Date Night Cooking Experience
Join us for a bold, flavor-packed evening inspired by braai, South Africa’s beloved tradition of cooking over live fire. This is a feast built on smoke, spice, sweetness, and celebration — layered, vibrant, and unapologetically generous.
Together we’ll prepare peri-peri shrimp with bright heat, curried chicken and apricot sosaties threaded and grilled to caramelized perfection, spiced lamb loin chops, and soy-and-chutney glazed pork belly. On the side, we’ll balance the richness with spicy grilled pineapple, a refreshing watermelon and tomato salad, and coconut curry cauliflower. To finish, we’ll bake malva pudding — tender, syrup-soaked, and served warm.
As always, we cook communally at one long table, learning techniques, sharing stories, and building the feast together. Once everything is plated, you’ll sit down to enjoy the full spread while we take care of the dishes.
