Slip away to the sun-drenched shores of the Côte d’Azur for a romantic evening of hands-on cooking inspired by the flavors of Southern France. This immersive class celebrates the vibrant, market-driven cuisine of the Riviera—bright, briny, elegant, and full of Mediterranean charm. Think bustling open-air markets, seaside cafés, and long, leisurely meals shared with friends under the glow of the setting sun.
We’ll begin with a colorful spread of Provençal small plates designed for sharing and savoring: buttery caramelized onion pissaladière tarts, velvety eggplant caviar, rustic roasted tomatoes with goat cheese, and a show-stopping salade niçoise with seared tuna, olives, green beans, and potatoes. Each dish highlights the fresh, sun-ripened produce and bold flavors that make this region so beloved.
Then, you’ll dive into the evening’s centerpiece—a classic bouillabaisse. We suggest a Sauvignon Blanc, Cassis Blanc or Picpoul de Pinet if you like whites, a Provençal or Tavel Rosé if you prefer rosés, and a lovely dry Crémant de Loire or Crémant de Bourgogne if you want something sparkling.
