Who says holiday baking requires an oven? Or that perfectly respectable food can’t be turned into tiny woodland creatures wearing vegetable hats?

Join us at Hampton House for a delightfully ridiculous romp through the wonderfully kitschy side of Christmas cooking! We’re embracing the nostalgic, the whimsical, and the gloriously over-the-top as we whip up an assortment of old-fashioned holiday confections, charmingly absurd appetizers, and edible little works of art.

We’ll roll bourbon balls, make chocolate salami (yes, really!), fashion festive Rice Krispie wreaths, and create sparkling sugared cranberries. You’ll also concoct your very own bespoke cocktail nuts, experimenting with sweet, savory, spicy, and delightfully unexpected flavor combinations.

And then things get silly.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Ridiculous Holiday Hors d’Oeuvres, where olives become penguins, deviled eggs become snowmen, and perfectly innocent cheese balls sprout hedgehog spines. We’ll make cucumber Christmas trees, caprese toadstools, adorable little strawberry Santas, and whatever other edible nonsense our imaginations can conjure.

Along the way, we’ll share tips, techniques, and plenty of holiday cheer. You’ll leave with a marvelous assortment of handmade treats, festive party snacks, and the knowledge that you can, in fact, spend a perfectly lovely afternoon giving a penguin made of olives a tiny carrot nose.
