A New Kind of Taco Tuesday
Fresh, handmade tacos. Warm kitchen energy. A musical finale to close the night.
This is Taco Tuesday done properly.
We’ll build the evening from scratch, starting with elotes hot off the grill — smoky, creamy, and just messy enough to feel right. From there, we’ll slow-cook carnitas until they’re tender with crisp edges, and dive into rich birria made for dipping and piling high. You’ll chop bright pico de gallo, mash fresh guacamole, and press handmade tortillas that puff and char in all the right ways. And because we don’t do anything halfway, we’ll finish with a classic tres leches cake: light, soaked, and perfectly balanced.
This is fully hands-on. You’ll cook, assemble, taste, adjust, and plate everything yourselves — working side by side, picking up new techniques, and likely sneaking a few bites along the way. We’ll have ingredients ready for margaritas, so feel free to BYOB and mix something festive.
Then, once we sit down together and the plates are full, the room shifts. The kitchen settles. Conversation stretches a little longer. And the evening closes with a live violin performance featuring Mexican and Latin favorites.
It’s vibrant. It’s collaborative. It’s a new kind of Taco Tuesday.
BYOB
We’ll have the fixin’s for margaritas, you bring your spirit of choice. Or, if cervezas are more your thing, a good Mexican beer is always appropriate!
