We’re embracing the nostalgic\, the whimsical\, and the gloriously over-the-top as we whip up an assortment of old-fashioned holiday confections\, charmingly absurd appetizers\, and edible little works of art. \nWe’ll roll bourbon balls\, make chocolate salami (yes\, really!)\, fashion festive Rice Krispie wreaths\, and create sparkling sugared cranberries. You’ll also concoct your very own bespoke cocktail nuts\, experimenting with sweet\, savory\, spicy\, and delightfully unexpected flavor combinations. \nAnd then things get silly. \nWelcome to the wonderful world of Ridiculous Holiday Hors d’Oeuvres\, where olives become penguins\, deviled eggs become snowmen\, and perfectly innocent cheese balls sprout hedgehog spines. We’ll make cucumber Christmas trees\, caprese toadstools\, adorable little strawberry Santas\, and whatever other edible nonsense our imaginations can conjure. \nAlong the way\, we’ll share tips\, techniques\, and plenty of holiday cheer. You’ll leave with a marvelous assortment of handmade treats\, festive party snacks\, and the knowledge that you can\, in fact\, spend a perfectly lovely afternoon giving a penguin made of olives a tiny carrot nose. \nNo baking required. No artistic talent necessary. Join us for a cozy\, cheerful gathering filled with delicious hot cocoa\, beloved Christmas songs\, and the wonderful pleasure of making music together. \nWith a pianist at the keys\, we’ll sing our way through the carols and Christmas favorites we all know and love—from the sweetly sentimental to the gloriously exuberant. Some we’ll remember every word of\, some we’ll muddle through\, and some we’ll probably sing with considerably more enthusiasm than musical precision. That’s half the fun! \nWhether you’ve sung in choirs all your life or your musical career has been largely confined to the shower\, there’s a place for your voice. No auditions\, no solos\, and absolutely no musical talent required. This is a family-friendly event for singers of all ages!  \nJust come ready to raise a mug\, raise your voice\, and enjoy a wonderfully nostalgic Christmas celebration in the warmth of our beautiful historic home. \nGood cocoa.
