SUMMARY:Oktoberfest Date Night Cooking Experience
DESCRIPTION:About our Oktoberfest Date Night Cooking Experience\nProst! Get ready to raise a glass and celebrate Oktoberfest with a night full of flavor\, laughter\, and hands-on Bavarian cooking. This isn’t just any cooking class—it’s a lively date night that captures the warmth\, heartiness\, and cheer of Germany’s most famous festival. Think clinking steins\, the smell of fresh-baked pretzels\, and the joy of cooking something delicious together. Lederhosen and dirndls are totally optional—but if you wear them\, you’ll definitely earn extra applause! \nWe’ll kick things off with warm pretzel pockets—golden brown on the outside\, soft on the inside\, and stuffed with gooey cheese\, smoky ham\, and tangy mustard. (We’ll prep the dough in advance so you get straight to the fun part: stuffing\, shaping\, and baking!) Then\, roll up your sleeves to hand-make spätzle noodles just like Oma would have made them. Next\, we’ll simmer beer-braised bratwurst with sauerkraut until juicy and savory\, and toss together a warm German potato salad that’s bright\, tangy\, and just the right amount of comfort food. \nAnd because no Oktoberfest is complete without something sweet\, dessert is a show-stopping\, team effort: a giant\, six-foot-long apple strudel! Together\, you’ll stretch the dough paper-thin (don’t worry\, we’ll teach you the tricks of the trade)\, fill it with cinnamon-spiced apples and toasty breadcrumbs\, and roll it into a golden\, fragrant masterpiece. When it comes out of the oven\, the first slice will have everyone grinning. \nBring your favorite Oktoberfest brew\, your favorite person\, and your best appetite. We’ll bring the recipes\, the music\, and the fun. By the end of the night\, you’ll feel like you’ve danced\, cooked\, and feasted your way through Munich—without ever leaving the Ozarks. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \nBYOB \n  \nWe suggest an Oktoberfest/Märzen beer\, of course! If you prefer wine\, any white German or Austrian wine would be perfect (dry or sweet\, take your pick!) \n\n\n\n\n  \nADMIT TWO \n  \nEach ticket admits two people! You don’t have to bring a romantic partner; friends\, gal pals\, adult kids\, parents\, anybody you want to share the cooking and eating with is great! \n\n\n\n\n  \nRules & Policies \n  \nComplete Event & Ticket Policies can be found here. Please read them!  \n\n\n\n\n  \nHave More Questions? \n  \nCheck our FAQ\, and then send us a message if you still have questions!

SUMMARY:Pretzel Baking Class
DESCRIPTION:Get Ready for Pretzel Baking Class!\nWe roll up our sleeves and dive into the world of handmade pretzels in our crowd-fave Pretzel Baking Class. This fun\, hands-on workshop is all about mastering the dough\, the twist\, and the bake that makes pretzels so irresistible\, while also learning a few tricks that bakers have passed down for generations. \nWe’ll begin with authentic Bavarian lye-dipped pretzels\, the kind that deliver that iconic chewy crust and deep\, golden shine. Lye can be dangerous if handled incorrectly\, but we’ll provide the goggles\, the know-how\, and the confidence to teach you how to use lye safely. It’s not nearly as scary as it sounds\, and the delicious results are absolutely worth it. \nNext\, we’ll bake Scandinavian sweet pretzels\, soft\, sweet\, and lightly iced\, perfect for an afternoon treat or a cozy breakfast. We’ll also make Parmesan peppercorn pretzels\, savory and bold. It’s basically the best possible garlic bread—but with all the satisfying chew and character of a real pretzel. \nAlong the way\, we’ll tackle the famous flippy-twisty pretzel fold (English doesn’t really have a word for it\, but German does: Brezelschlingen)\, breaking it down step by step until the classic shape feels easy and natural. We’ll share tips on dough handling\, shaping\, flavor variations\, and baking methods so that pretzels can become part of our own kitchen repertoire. \nBy the end of class\, we’ll leave with a generous pile of fresh\, warm pretzels\, new skills\, and maybe even a new party trick to share. Whether sweet or savory\, pretzels are always a crowd-pleaser—and making them together makes them even better. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \nADMIT ONE \n  \nEach ticket admits one person\, but don’t let that stop you.  This is a great experience to share with friends\, family\, neighbors\, coworkers\, frenemies\, and anybody you want to share the cooking and eating with! \n\n\n\n\n  \nRules & Policies \n  \nComplete Event & Ticket Policies can be found here. Please read them!  \n\n\n\n\n  \nHave More Questions? \n  \nCheck our FAQ\, and then send us a message if you still have questions!

SUMMARY:Sourdough & Naturally Leavened Breads Baking Class
DESCRIPTION:Sourdough & Naturally Leavened Breads Baking Class\nWe celebrate the art\, science\, and flavor of naturally leavened breads in our Sourdough & Naturally Leavened Breads Baking Class. Together\, we’ll explore the fascinating world of wild yeast\, long fermentation\, and rustic baking traditions that bring unmatched character and taste to every loaf. \nWe’ll begin with the foundation: an artisan sourdough\, learning the steps of mixing\, folding\, proofing\, and baking that create the chewy crust\, open crumb\, and deep tang that make sourdough beloved around the world. From there\, we’ll branch out into variations that highlight how versatile naturally leavened breads can be. We’ll bake an aromatic asiago and onion sourdough\, a savory loaf filled with bold\, cheesy flavor and caramelized sweetness. \nWe’ll also step outside sourdough-is-savory box and prepare South African mosbolletjies\, a fragrant\, lightly sweet bread flavored with anise and enriched with all of the dairy products we have. (Not really\, but it feels like it!) This bread was our all-time top seller when we used to sell at the Farmer’s Market — even among people who couldn’t pronounce it (so\, basically\, everyone.)  \nIn addition\, we’ll put every bit of our starter to good use by turning discarded sourdough into crispy\, delicious crackers. These golden\, savory bites reduce waste while adding another skill to our repertoire. \nAlong the way\, we’ll cover essential techniques\, from starter maintenance to shaping methods and decorative techniques\, so that sourdough feels approachable and exciting. Whether rustic or refined\, savory or slightly sweet\, every bread we bake together will deepen our appreciation for this timeless craft. \nBy the end\, we’ll leave with a collection of fresh loaves\, crackers\, and the confidence to keep baking sourdough at home for years to come. And yes\, we will give you starter to take home!

SUMMARY:The Last Days of Pompeii Night Cooking Experience
DESCRIPTION:  \n\nAn Ancient Roman Cooking Class\nStep back in time for an evening of ancient flavors and timeless romance as we commemorate the final days of Pompeii with a hands-on culinary experience inspired by the foods of the Roman Empire. Imagine dining in a villa overlooking the Bay of Naples\, surrounded by candlelight and conversation\, as you savor dishes drawn directly from archaeological research and historical texts. This unique evening allows you to taste the very foods enjoyed by citizens of Pompeii before Mount Vesuvius forever changed their world. \nThe menu brings the past vividly to life with elegant simplicity and bold flavors. We’ll begin with stuffed dates and figs\, a delicacy enjoyed by Roman elites\, followed by herbed ricotta with honey and walnuts and panis quadratus\, the Roman-style bread famously found carbonized in the ruins of Pompeii. Next\, sample coriander-scented chickpeas\, a nod to the ubiquitous street food of the time\, before moving on to house-made Lucanian pork sausage\, adapted from the two-thousand-year-old cookbook of Apicius. A smooth parsnip purée accompanies the savory spread. Finally\, for dessert\, we’ll prepare pear patina\, a delicately spiced custard beloved in the ancient world. \nHeld on the (probable) anniversary of Mount Vesuvius’s eruption in AD 79\, this immersive date night offers more than just a meal—it’s a journey into history\, culture\, and flavor. Whether you’re a history buff\, a foodie\, or simply in search of a truly one-of-a-kind evening\, join us to taste the romance and richness of ancient Rome—one course at a time. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \nBYOB \n  \nWe suggest an Italian white wine\, like a Falanghina\, ancient Aglianico\, or Vermentino.  \n\n\n\n\n  \nADMIT TWO \n  \nEach ticket admits two people!

SUMMARY:Scandinavian Date Night Cooking Experience
DESCRIPTION:About Our Scandinavian Cooking Class\nEmbrace the cozy glow of hygge—that uniquely Scandinavian feeling of warmth\, comfort\, and joy—as you spend a winter evening cooking a hands-on Nordic feast. Think flickering candlelight\, laughter filling the kitchen\, and the scent of butter\, dill\, and fresh-baked bread in the air. This class is all about hearty flavors\, simple elegance\, and that playful\, communal spirit that makes Scandinavian cooking so special. Perfect for date night\, it’s part cooking class\, part cozy escape. \nWe’ll start with the most beloved of Nordic comfort foods: Swedish meatballs served with creamy mashed potatoes and bright\, tart lingonberry sauce. Then we’ll warm up with a velvety bowl of rotfruktssoppa\, a silky root vegetable soup that feels like a hug in a bowl. Next up\, you’ll try your hand at curing your own gravlax\, served with quick pickles and a mustard-dill sauce\, all piled onto fresh-baked Scandinavian seed bread. To balance the richness\, we’ll toss together a roasted beet and dill salad with horseradish crème fraîche—vibrant\, fresh\, and deliciously Nordic. \nAnd for dessert? We’ll end on a playful\, golden note with Danish aebleskiver—light\, spherical pancake bites that are crisp outside\, fluffy inside\, and endlessly fun to flip in their special pan. Rolled in sugar or topped with jam\, they’re the perfect sweet ending to a night of flavor and togetherness. \nBring someone you love\, your sense of adventure\, and maybe a cozy sweater. By the end of the evening\, you’ll feel full\, warm\, and wrapped in the best of Scandinavian hospitality. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \nBYOB \n  \nWe suggest a crisp dry Riesling\, a citrusy Grüner Veltliner\, a light-bodied Gamay or Pinot Noir\, a Scandinavian-style craft beer (like a malty amber or pale ale)\, or a chilled glass of sweet-tart cherry liqueur or aquavit to round out the Nordic experience. \n\n\n\n\n  \nADMIT TWO \n  \nEach ticket admits two people! SUMMARY:Wild Ozarks Date Night Cooking Experience
DESCRIPTION:An Ozark Mountain Cooking Class\nHere in the heart of the Ozarks\, where green hills roll and wild beauty thrives\, we invite you to return to the source—to the woods\, the streams\, and the quiet meadows that have nourished us for generations. Our Wild Ozarks Date Night Cooking Experience is more than a meal; it’s a celebration of place\, heritage\, and flavor. This hands-on evening will connect you to the land through a menu that highlights foraged treasures\, seasonal abundance\, and the timeless craft of cooking with what nature provides. \nTogether\, we’ll craft a feast from ingredients foraged\, harvested\, and sourced with care. The evening begins with smoked trout deviled eggs\, a nod to our cold mountain streams\, followed by a velvety wild chanterelle cream soup\, earthy and aromatic. You’ll prepare landrace spoonbread with black walnut honey butter\, warm and nostalgic\, then move on to the main course—seared elk medallions with a blackberry-port reduction\, rich\, tender\, and deeply rooted in the flavors of the forest. Alongside\, we’ll make a rustic wilted greens salad with bacon vinaigrette\, a dish both simple and deeply satisfying. To finish\, you’ll create a blackberry galette with acorn shortbread crust\, a dessert that’s as wild and elegant as the landscape itself. This isn’t just cooking—it’s an exploration of what it means to eat from the land around us. Whether you’re an adventurous foodie\, a couple seeking a memorable evening\, or simply curious about Ozark flavors\, you’ll leave with full bellies\, happy hearts\, and a renewed appreciation for the richness of this beautiful region. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \nBYOB \n  \nWe suggest a Missouri Norton red\, a white Vignoles\, a refreshing local cider\, a smooth small-batch Missouri moonshine\, or a local Bourbon cream liqueur to complement this Ozark Mountain menu. \n\n\n\n\n  \nADMIT TWO \n  \nEach ticket admits two people! SUMMARY:Introduction to Breadbaking
DESCRIPTION:If you’ve ever dreamed of pulling a golden loaf of bread from your own oven\, this class is the perfect place to start! In this friendly\, hands-on workshop\, we’ll explore the foundations of great bread baking — from mixing and kneading to shaping\, proofing\, and baking — and make it all approachable\, practical\, and delicious. \nYou’ll learn how flour\, water\, yeast\, and salt come together to form doughs with very different personalities\, and how to adjust hydration and fermentation for the best flavor and texture. We’ll work through three basic doughs that can become a whole bakery’s worth of breads: ciabatta\, focaccia\, baguettes\, Sicilian loaves\, bread bowls\, and more. \nAlong the way\, you’ll discover how to tell when your dough is ready to move on to the next stage\, why moisture matters\, and what makes a great crust vs. a soft crumb. You’ll taste fresh bread straight from the oven and go home with an armload of your own creations — plus recipes\, techniques\, and the confidence to keep baking at home. \nWhether you’re brand new to bread or looking to strengthen your skills\, this class will give you the tools you need for baking success. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \nADMIT ONE \n  \nEach ticket admits one person\, but don’t let that stop you.

SUMMARY:Georgian Supra Date Night Cooking Experience
DESCRIPTION:About Our Georgian Cooking Class\nWhether Georgia is already one of your favorite cuisines or you’re discovering it for the first time\, we can’t wait to welcome you to Georgian Supra—our celebration of the rich\, ancient food culture of the Eastern European/West Asian nation of Georgia. (We love the Peach State too\, but this menu comes from the other one—the one with mountains\, monasteries\, and 8\,000 years of winemaking tradition.) \nA supra is a traditional Georgian feast: a generous\, abundant table filled with vibrant dishes\, heartfelt hospitality\, and food meant to be shared. This spirit of welcome has been central to Georgian life for millennia\, shaped by the country’s position at the crossroads of Europe and Asia. Archaeological discoveries reveal that Georgia is home to some of the world’s earliest winemaking sites\, where clay qvevri vessels were used to ferment grapes thousands of years before the first amphora appeared in Greece or Rome. That same deep history—of wine\, of trade\, of craftsmanship—shaped the bold\, unforgettable flavors that make this cuisine so compelling today. \nGeorgian food is true East-meets-West fusion in the best possible way. Expect a balance of bright pomegranate and earthy walnuts\, fresh herbs and cultured dairy\, smoky vegetables and tender dumplings\, spices that warm rather than overwhelm\, and\, of course\, the most famous dish of all: khachapuri\, the warm\, indulgent cheese bread beloved around the world. \nOur Supra menu features:• Khachapuri (cheese-filled bread boats)• Khinkali (pork and beef dumplings)• Fresh tomato–cucumber salad• Eggplant–walnut rolls• Plov (fragrant rice with dried fruit)• Kharcho (beef in rich walnut and spice stew)• Tart cherry cake for dessert \nThis is more than a cooking class—it’s a feast\, a welcome\, and a window into one of the oldest continuous culinary traditions on Earth.
Come ready to learn\, savor\, and celebrate. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \nBYOB \n  \nWe suggest a bright Georgian Rkatsiteli\, a dry or off-dry Riesling\, an earthy Pinot Noir\, a bold Saperavi red\, or a luscious late-harvest Muscat to pair beautifully with the tart cherry cake.
